With over 13 years of experience in CrossFit, Michael was part of the sport from its early days. Pushing boundaries without a clear understanding of long-term impact, he faced a series of injuries — from slipped discs and torn meniscus to patellar tendinitis and greater trochanteric bursitis. Frustrated by the constant cycle of pain, he made the difficult decision to step back and redirect his focus. That turning point led him into the world of performance-based rehabilitation. Through studying a range of courses and refining his approach to movement, Michael was able to rebuild his body — not just to move again, but to move without pain. Now, as the founder and co-owner of Kairos, he specializes in helping others do the same: reclaiming their strength, improving performance, and prioritizing pain-free, sustainable training.

Andrea’s journey into coaching is rooted in both performance and personal experience. With a background in triathlons, she later discovered a passion for functional fitness and CrossFit. When she became pregnant, her training didn’t stop — guided by her husband Michael (co-founder of Kairos), who studied pre and postnatal coaching to support her, Andrea continued to move safely and effectively throughout her pregnancy. After giving birth, she became certified in pre and postnatal training herself, and now empowers other women to prepare their bodies for pregnancy and confidently rebuild postpartum. As a co-owner of Kairos, Andrea brings both expertise and lived experience to her coaching, creating a space where women can train with strength, safety, and purpose.
